1. What Denomination is Abiding Savior?
We are are part of the Association of Free Lutheran Churches. What does “Free” mean? We are a fellowship of independent congregations, who have chosen to be interdependent for the purpose of accomplishing service in the Kingdom of God that cannot best be done alone. What do we believe as Lutherans? Check out Who We Are and What We Believe!

2. What Options Are There For My Children?
Throughout the school year we offer Children’s Sunday School for all children from toddlers through 5th grade from 9:30-10:30am. We also provide nursery care for babies through those 3-years-old. We value families worshiping together, so we encourage you to bring your children with you to the worship service. While a time might come where you need to take them out of the sanctuary, we provide activity bags in the back of the sanctuary to help keep them occupied.

3.  How Do I Become a Member?
We ask everyone wanting to pursue membership fill out an information form, available at our Welcome Center. Once that is submitted, we ask you to attend our Foundations of the Faith class, offered during our Spring and Fall semesters. Once completed, one of our pastors will connect with you to see if you have any remaining questions and to get to know you better. Finally, those who have completed these steps will have their names approved by our elders and officially be members!

4. How Do I Join a Life Group?
Our Life Group ministry is based on a semester model that runs from Jan-May and Sept-Nov. In the month leading up to each semester we have signup sheets available in the Fellowship Hall that have all the available Life Groups listed. You are able to sign up for a Life Group at that point in time. We ask that you commit to that Life Group for one semester. At the end of the semester, you can choose to either continue with that group or join a different group. You can get more info on our Life Groups page.

5. How Do I Get Involved?
We love when people get involved and participate in the life of Abiding Savior. We have many ways for you to use your talents and gifts within the church. You can head over to our Get Involved page to see many of the areas to serve.
