Life Groups
Better Together
Why Life Groups?
We are designed for relationships. We are called to be in community. As a church who has a passion for not just making disciples, but helping people grow deeper in their faith, we believe that Life Groups are the best way to build and deepen both relationships and faith.

Our mission statement at Abiding Savior is “Knowing the Savior, Growing with the Savior, and Going for the Savior.” Our prayer is that by being in a Life Group, you will experience deep relationships and community, encouragement and accountability, opportunities to serve the body of Christ as well as those in our community, and time in God’s Word. Life Groups are not only a fun place to learn about God and grow as believers, but also a place where we can impact others through our relationships!

Join a Life Group
We love Life Groups and we hope you are excited to join one as well. Our Life Groups take place during our Spring Semester and our Fall semester. Some groups might choose to quit meeting at the end of the semester, but it is common for groups to want to keep meeting together. Prior to each semester we have a list of Life Groups available for you to look through. Based on the day and time, topic, or location, you can sign up for whatever works for you!

If you would like to join a Life Group once a semester has already started, you may want to wait until the next semester starts or we will work to plug you into a Life Groups that still have openings.

Start a Life Group
Our Life Group ministry actively seeks to add new groups and plug people into Life Groups. We also intentionally identify and develop our Life Group leaders. If you are interested in starting a Life Group, we’d love to talk with you!

To help our Life Groups have the same passion and vision, we do have some expectations of our Life Group leaders. We ask that you have a relationship with Jesus Christ, that you are a member or regular attender at Abiding Savior, that you are currently (or have been) part of a Life Group in the past, and that you go through our LG training.

If you would like to be a Life Group Leader, or want more information on starting a Life Group, contact our Discipleship Pastor.
